latest addition to our staff,
Mr. KevinFowler. In
December 2013, Kevin
assumed the position of
ResearchCoordinator,
where he has been assisting
theCollege of Education
with educational research
and various other projects.
Kevinwas previously
employed as anAPA
Coach for the
Department ofCurriculum
& Instruction. Prior to his
experience as aGraduate
Assistant, Kevinworked as
aResearchAssistant for the
R.R.Mowrer Psychology
Lab here atASU.
A two-time alumnus of
ASU, Kevin graduatedwith
hisMaster's degree in
Industrial/Organizational
Psychology inSpringof
2013.

2014DistinguishedStudentAwardRecipient
NelsonThomas, aSenior
candidate in theDepartment of
Teacher Education, was
recognized as the 2013-2014
DistinguishedStudent Award
recipient for the
College of Education.
Nelson has participated in
manyASU campus
organizations, includingASU
StudentGovernment, where he
helped to raise awareness of
the need to improveASU
graduation and retention rates
as a student senator for the
Department of Teacher
Education. Nelson is amember
ofKappaDeltaPi, where he
served as President, aswell as
AlphaChi andPhi KappaPhi.
As a community activist,
Nelson serves as a court
appointed advocate for
children (CASA) and a young
adult pastor.
